Air Conditioning and HVAC Website Design Perth: Service Pages, Licence Proof and Quote Forms

HVAC website design Perth for air conditioning installers and servicers: split, ducted and repair pages, licence proof customers can check, suburb pages and quote forms that work before summer.

Air Conditioning and HVAC Website Design Perth: Service Pages, Licence Proof and Quote Forms

I'm Rav, and I run JetBlok Studio out of Gosnells. When the first 38 degree day of the season lands, every household that ignored its air con over winter suddenly wants it serviced this week. They grab a phone, search, and give each website a couple of seconds. If your site doesn't show that you handle their system, cover their suburb and can be booked without fuss, they move straight to the next installer.

HVAC website design Perth is what I build for air conditioning businesses that install, service and repair split and ducted systems, and need each of those jobs to sit on its own page. Related: HVAC website design, websites for tradies, local SEO Perth.

What Perth customers check before they call an air con business

An air conditioner is a big purchase that has to work on the hottest week of the year. Homeowners compare a few installers. Builders and property managers want someone organised who replies to emails and shows up. Both groups are scanning for the same short list.

  • Do you install split systems, ducted systems, or both? Do you also service and repair them?
  • Which brands do you supply and work on?
  • Are you licensed for refrigerant and for the electrical side of the job?
  • Do you cover my suburb, and how soon can you get here?
  • Can I send a photo of my old unit or my house plan instead of filling in a long form?
  • Is there a real number I can tap, and will someone actually answer in a heatwave?

Each answer has to be clear on a phone without scrolling past a slider. If people have to hunt for it, they head back to the search results.

Give every air conditioning service its own page

A family replacing a 15 year old ducted system and a renter after a single split for one bedroom are different buyers with different budgets. Drop both onto one generic services page and neither feels like you get their job, and Google has nothing specific to match to their search.

Build one page per core service. Each one should explain what the job involves, what moves the price, roughly how long it takes and which brands you use, and carry its own quote button.

Pages worth building first

  • Split system installation: single rooms, back to back installs, typical pipe run lengths and what changes the price.
  • Ducted air conditioning: new homes, replacements, zoning and controllers, and roof space access.
  • Evaporative cooling: servicing, replacements and conversions to refrigerated systems, if you offer them.
  • Servicing and cleaning: what a service covers, how often, and pre-summer booking.
  • Repairs and breakdowns: common faults, after-hours arrangements, and what you need from the customer.
  • Commercial HVAC: offices, shops and maintenance contracts, with the paperwork commercial clients expect.

Focused pages also give you specific links for your Google Business Profile, quote follow-ups and any paid ads.

Licence proof customers can actually check

"Fully licensed" in the footer isn't proof. Air conditioning raises two separate licence questions, and a clear site answers both.

The first is refrigerant. The Australian Refrigeration Council says any person who handles refrigerant, or works on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including installing, commissioning, servicing and decommissioning it, must hold a Refrigerant Handling Licence, and handling refrigerant without one is an offence (ARC: Refrigerant Handling Licence FAQs). The ARC also explains that the restricted Splits licence only covers single head split systems under 18kW and does not cover servicing that involves refrigerant (ARC: who can do what with split system air conditioners). If you hold a full licence, say so, and list your ARCtick licence and authorisation numbers.

The second is electrical. In Western Australia, Building and Energy says refrigeration and air conditioning technicians with a restricted electrical licence can do limited work within the equipment, but are not authorised to install or alter fixed wiring (Building and Energy: R&AC restricted electrical licence factsheet). For new installs it reminds consumers to check that a licensed electrician, employed by a licensed electrical contractor, carries out the electrical installing work (Building and Energy: unlicensed air-con work). If you hold an EC licence, show the number. If you use a licensed electrical contractor for the wiring, say so plainly. Customers can search electrical licences on the Building and Energy website, so a visible number builds trust fast.

Put your business name, ABN, public liability cover and licence numbers in readable text in the footer, on the About page and beside the quote form.

Suburb pages that match how Perth people search

People rarely search for an air conditioning company in Perth as a whole. They search for air con installation or ducted air con service in their own suburb. Suburb pages work when they're useful: the housing types in that area, the systems you commonly fit there, and photos of finished installs nearby. A page copied wholesale with the suburb name swapped helps nobody.

Start with the suburbs you actually service. From Gosnells I build for tradies across the metro, including Canning Vale, Armadale, Baldivis and Ellenbrook. Ten strong suburb pages beat fifty thin copies. See the approach across the web design Perth suburb pages.

Ducted jobs are bigger purchases, so they need their own page with photos, zoning options and a quote path

A quote form built for air con jobs

Most air con quotes need the same handful of details. Ask for those and nothing else, so the form is quick on a phone.

  1. Name, phone and suburb.
  2. Job type: new split, new ducted, replacement, service or repair.
  3. Number of rooms or rough house size, and single or double storey.
  4. An optional photo upload of the old unit, the switchboard or the house plan.
  5. A short message box for brand preferences, timing or builder job numbers.

Then test it yourself. Submit the form from your own phone on mobile data and check the email lands. A silent form in December costs real jobs, because customers think they've booked and then wait.

Seasonal pages and mobile speed

Air con demand in Perth is seasonal. Publish a pre-summer servicing page in spring and keep it current, with clear booking lead times. If you also sell reverse cycle systems for heating, give winter its own push. Keep pages lean: no autoplay video or oversized images, and your phone number visible on every screen.

The site needs local signals behind it too: a complete Google Business Profile with air conditioning categories, service areas and real install photos, consistent business details across directories, and review replies that sound like a real person. Reviews that name the suburb and the system help you show up for those searches, and clear service pages help AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity describe what you do. No honest studio can promise a ranking position. Anyone guaranteeing first place for Perth air conditioning searches is selling something they don't control.

Mistakes that cost Perth air con businesses quotes

  • No phone number visible without scrolling.
  • One services paragraph instead of split, ducted, servicing and repair pages.
  • "Fully licensed" with no ARCtick or electrical licence numbers behind it.
  • Brand logos everywhere but no photos of your own installs.
  • A quote form that will not accept a photo from a phone.
  • No list of the suburbs you actually service.
  • Summer booking information that is still from last year.

A short checklist you can run this week

  • Phone number in the header, with tap to call.
  • Short quote form with photo upload, tested end to end.
  • A page each for split installs, ducted, servicing and repairs.
  • ARCtick and electrical licence details in readable text near the form.
  • Real install photos with suburb names in the captions.
  • A current pre-summer servicing page with booking lead times.

If two or three are missing, that can explain a quiet phone in a hot month. Start with HVAC website design, check web design cost Perth, or get started.

Frequently Asked Questions

What pages does an air conditioning website need?

A solid start is a home page, an about page with licence and insurance details, a gallery of installs, a contact page, and one page per main service such as split system installation, ducted air conditioning, servicing and repairs. Add suburb pages for the areas you most want work in.

Should I show my ARCtick licence number on my website?

Yes. The Australian Refrigeration Council says anyone installing, servicing or decommissioning air conditioning equipment must hold a Refrigerant Handling Licence. Showing your licence and authorisation numbers in plain text near your quote form lets customers see you are legitimate.

Do I need an electrical licence to install air conditioners in WA?

For the electrical installing work, yes. Building and Energy says restricted electrical licence holders cannot install or alter fixed wiring, and that new installs need a licensed electrician employed by a licensed electrical contractor. Confirm your own situation with Building and Energy and show any EC number you hold.

Should I put prices on my HVAC website?

You do not need fixed prices, but starting prices for common jobs such as a standard split install, plus a plain list of what changes the price, reduce quote shock and filter out time wasters.

How much does an HVAC website cost in Perth?

At JetBlok Studio, Starter is $999 one-time, Growth is $1,999 one-time, and Pro starts at $2,999 for custom work, with an optional Care Plan at $299 per month. All figures AUD, No GST charged. I work with you until you are happy.

Will a new website get me more air con leads?

A faster, clearer website converts more of the people who already find you, and better structure helps you appear for service and suburb searches. No studio can honestly guarantee a ranking position or a number of leads.

When should an air conditioning business update its website?

Before demand peaks. Spring is the time to refresh servicing pages, booking lead times and install photos, so the site is ready when the first hot week arrives. Call or WhatsApp 0431 242 326, email [email protected], or get started.
